Unfortunately (or fortunately, perhaps), it’s the specific woman in this photo that makes it TRULY special. Her breath-taking beauty, the pose, and that wonderfully mischievous smirk on her face combine to create such an intense level of eroticism in this shot that it completely overwhelms the attempt, compositionally, to be clever. This photo might have actually ‘worked’ better had the photographer chosen a less fetching model. I love this photo–but alas, I suspect, not for the reason intended by its creator.
