Frost creations on grass

In the Winter season the steam coming from Fly Geysers is forming bloomy frost formations on the surrounding wheat. This natural hot springs are geologically new and probably result of the last century drilling when people were trying to find the source of water to convert surrounding deserts into farmlands. Finally in the 60’s the underground pressure pushed the boiling water to the surface and formed 3 cones. Spewing mineral rich waters are ever changing the shapes and colors of mounts.  It is located near State Route 34 about 20 miles from Gerlach, NV on private Fly Ranch.
